The hip grabbers are bolted to the hull with three bolts, the front bolt is also used to attach the thigh straps. The rear bolts are connected with a metalplate to distribute stress. Note: The hip grabbers are not very tall, i.e. they do not interfere with the skirt. Good boat control is ensured by their width.
